Key Lime Pie Martini

Key Lime Pie Martini | From My Sweet Heart

  • 2 ounces of vanilla vodka
  • 1 ounce of coconut rum
  • 1 ounce of key lime juice
  • 1 ounce of heavy cream

Fill your cocktail shaker 2/3 way with ice cubes.  Add all ingredients and shake well.  Pour into a martini glass.  Garnish with a lime twist or wedge and finely crushed graham crackers ( or rim the glass with crushed grahams mixed with sugar).

Today I was rescued!  So I’d like to make a toast to my son, Jeff, who came to my aid.  But also to the really kind gentleman from AAA who replaced my car battery in the middle of an unshaded parking lot at high noon in 103° heat!!!

Cheers everyone and TGIF!!!  Enjoy this lovely cocktail while listening to a favorite song of mine by TRAIN.  It just seemed appropriate for my day!

  1. YUM! You certainly sound like you’re having a nice evening. Enjoy. : ) Have a great weekend too. : )

  2. Anne, I had a key Lime martini once and I LOVED it. Thanks for a way to make it at home. Buzzed!!

    • Janet….this is a great dessert martini. I also think it would be good with the addition of coconut milk in addition to or replacing the cream! Cheers! : )

  3. The first time I tasted a vodka martini, I thought the bar tender was trying to poison me. Not my drink at all! This, on the other hand, I’d be very willing to try. The lime, cream and syrup will definitely soften the kick of the vodka. Cheers!

    • Hester! That’s funny! The first time I had a vodka martini, I thought I was drinking kerosene! I guess that’s why I prefer my martinis fruity and sweet. You can always cut the vodka, too! : )

  4. I heart vanilla vodka! This martini is for me… (and super cute that the text for this post is key lime green :D)

    • Tiffany…I heart vanilla vodka, too! And lemon vodka, and raspberry vodka, and blueberry vodka…and……oops! :- O

  5. WOW this martini is absolutely gorgeous!! Love this!! :)

  6. —Now you got me in the mood, Anne,
Martininis & Train :) Luv it. xx
